I’m Monica — a documentary photographer & filmmaker.

My love for visual storytelling started as a child and only grew as I got older. I’ve seen countless films & photographs that have opened my eyes to beautiful cultures, incredible hardships, and important social issues. Now, I am endlessly grateful that I have the opportunity to tell these kinds of stories through my own film & photography work.

My background in logistics and entrepreneurship has given me the ability to seamlessly juggle the logistics of a project while always keeping my eye on the story at the center of it. I approach each project with respect for my subjects and strive to tell each story with authenticity.

When I’m not working, you can find me laughing with my loved ones, volunteering, reading, hiking, or watching my latest favorite TV show.

I hope that my work can contribute to a world that is more compassionate, equitable, and kind.
